What will I receive from SmashCreate?
For all the plans you will receive the files as outlined. The main difference between us and other "logo" services is that we create a custom brand guide tailored to your business, allowing you to implement your brand consistently, everywhere. On top of that, we'll send you the relevant editable files of your visual identity so you can start using your brand right away.
How will we communicate?
Most communication will occur async through a custom project board, where we can share progress updates and final files. Revisions and other discussions can also take place there, and we can always schedule a short call if needed. The process can be further explained on an intro call as needed.
How is this different from hiring a logo designer?
At SmashCreate, we value the relationships we build with our customers as much as the work we do for them. When you hire a logo designer, you typically only receive a logo file without any supporting strategy, guidelines, or usage examples. At SmashCreate, we provide a comprehensive foundation for how your new logo will be viewed in the world, including a complete brand guide and the finalized files. Additionally, we can scale the brand into any other deliverable in the future, if you wish.
How is this different from AI logo generators?
AI is clever and we're actively embracing it, but it cannot truly capture the unique essence of your company. AI produces "off-the-shelf" designs that may look impressive but fail to convey the distinct value that a business offers. However, should you wish to pursue the AI route, we can certainly discuss the idea of it and leverage our experitse and guidance to achieve the desired result.
What is the typical process on a project?

Ideate
We get to work on high level ideas and concepts to begin narrowing down to one chosen direction.
Design
Once a concept has been chosen, the design refinement process begins, constructing your distinctive brand.
Delivery
You'll receive the entire package precisely as outlined in the time specified. With up to three rounds of tweaks, you'll be thrilled with the outcome.
Additional Revisions
If the three rounds don't quite hit the mark, we can do additional revision rounds for $2000 each.
What project details should I include?
Basically, we ask for your input across three simple areas:
- Describe the design you need and the goal for the project.
- Describe your brand's USP or unique value
- Attach any assets, images, current logos, fonts and copy needed.
We’ll format this into a brief which we can walk through together on our intro call and flesh out the details.
How do payments work?
To secure the project, you'll receive a Stripe link where you pay 50% upfront. The remaining 50% will be due and invoiced seperately upon final approval and project completion.
What if I'm not happy with my designs?
With over 23 years of experience creating and elevating some of the world's most prestigious brands, we are confident that you will be very happy with the results. We offer the option of three rounds of feedback to refine the concepts according to your preferences. Beyond that, revisions can be made for an additional $2000 each.
Do you offer refunds if I'm not satisfied with the output?
Unfortunately, due to the customized nature of our work, we are unable to offer refunds.
